I started training Kempo Karate at five years old and earned my black belt as a kid. In 2008 I walked into the Jungle Gym and started training under Master Chim. I earned my Jiu-Jitsu black belt there. I still train, still compete, still teach.

In 2010 I opened Jungle Gym New Roc as a blue belt. The first space wasn't even visible from a main road. I grew the school year over year until we outgrew it and relocated in 2017 to the prime location we run out of today.

We're 500+ active students. Revenue and profit have climbed every year, including through the pandemic. Last year set the gross and profit record. This year is on pace to break it again.

I've competed and won at the highest grappling levels and fought in MMA. I've made every operations mistake a school owner can make, fixed most of them, and turned the fixes into the system I now coach.
